Love Vs Fear is an immersive installation exploring the ways we move between fear and love in our thinking, choices, and everyday lives.

I created the work as a black-and-white journey through different mental and emotional states. The installation led viewers through a sequence of rooms, each one designed to reflect a different mode of perception and response.

The first space was a dark room with white messages scrawled across the walls. It represented fear, negativity, and the thought patterns that can keep us stuck, including worry, pressure, lack of time, and the need for security.

From there, the word Love appeared across the gallery walls and sculptural elements. I used perspective typography and spatial elements to explore the obstacles we face while moving towards contentment, clarity, and a more aligned way of living.

At the core of the installation was the idea that, even when change feels difficult, we still have choice.

Moving towards what we want can seem impossible, but I wanted to show that we all have choice in life. The moment you realise you are your own problem, you can become your own solution.

The final space opened into light and clarity. It invited reflection and offered a space to imagine a future shaped by intention rather than fear. Looking back, fear was still visible, but it was no longer all-encompassing.

Love Vs Fear was both a personal and universal invitation to reflect, take responsibility, and take action.

Making mistakes is a part of life and it is important to give yourself time to play and fail. Don’t be held back by fear. Do what you love.
